... right somewhen in 1998, when I visited my schoolmate Krtonozka at home, where I saw his computer and some strange software running. It was Fasttracker 2. The ultimate tracker, which did not impress me at first and I started to create music with Magix Music Maker. But... it sucked a lot. After creating approximately 7-10 tracks I found the software very limiting my creativity so I called Krtonozka "hey I want the soft you have" and the real hell has just started. First tracks were of course pretty shitty, but it was great fun during composing. Many times we were laughing to our creations, especially to our first co-op module with Krtonozka named Pszycho. We were so so enthusiastic about producing music and that lead us to create the 3 people Phuture Vibrations project, which was later renamed to Zansphere. As the time was running my music got better and better. In 2003 I had around 200 modules in my portfolio. Yeah, the golden age I could say, but then came the crisis. No new ideas, very few time because of my work in frame of civil army duty. I fell in love with Thunderdome VA compilations and I really wanted to make such a kind of hardcore. What can I say today? Mission successful. But it is 2006 today - the age of newstyle hardcore. Many people say "hey Pete, you overslept the time, create some newstyle!" and my answer is "it is not the music of my heart". I can feel there is the real mid-nineties thunderdomist inside me. In 2005 I left Fasttracker 2 for Renoise.
...belongs to Renoise. With VST support it offers a huge space for experimenting with various effects. I am not going to change my genre, I would like to take it into new sound dimensions only. Will trying to do so as long as possible. My message to you is - Keep hardcore alive and respect others!
